One day, during my senior year of high school, I was raking leaves in the backyard of my parent's house and talking with my love Jesus Christ. There was a yellowish blanket of leaves covering the ground, and as I walked each foot step was met with a crunching sound, as the dry leaves turned to dust underneath my feet. And I remember the different color branches swaying in the cool, brisk, autumn air, as I walked and talked with Jesus.

As I was raking the leaves, I posed a query to Jesus. I asked him, "how can I help people who are suffering?" With a diplomatic reply which resonated in my spirit, I heard the answer. "To help suffering people you must change yourself." What Jesus told me in the backyard of my parent's house, changed me and has stayed with me ever since.

Ever since that day my cry to God has been, "change me" instead of "change others."" Help me to be the answer" instead of, " trying to find the talk in others." Therefore, when I see lack of compassion run rampant, when I see hatred raise it's ugly head, when I see people abused and mistreated, when I see the old and the outcast of community forsaken, when I see the innocent being oppressed; I now lift my eyes to the heavens and plead with God, to change me and let your love rain down on me.

In this world of brokenness and despair,
where children are forgotten,
where women are abused,
there is intense fear.

With Christians who don't care,
cold hearts without love,
selfish motives
and a cold stare.

Broken hearts lie everywhere,
like dead men's bones,
compliancy and apathy,
with a question:
"God are you well there?"

Lord let your love rain down,
let it rain on me.
Lord let your love rain down,
like the pouring rain.
Lord let your love rain down,
so people may see,
that you have come to set them free.

My desire is to save them all,
to wrap my arms colse to them,
and make them heed salvation's call.

But I to am broken and in despair,
a prisoner of loneliness,
with a broken heart,
and sadly one who does not care.

You see, left on my own,
my good intentions become corrupt,
and as a effect love is not shown.

So I fall to my knees,
and straight through my tears,
in brokenness and surrender,
I utter this one plea.

Two thousand years ago,
on a hill called Calvary,
there was a man named Jesus,
who died for the world upon a tree.

His blood poured forth from the cross,

and save that which was lost.

You see, at sundown the suffering Savior, took one last breath,
and on that day, love truly rained down.

One horrible day, the incorporate in their nest heard cries for help louder and nearer

Frightened they were when they helplessly witnessed a cold blooded cruel murder

He wanted to go, but she didn't let the lover go and they were sole spectators of crime

Goldie had in this big scary mouth, a prey and sadly it was their lovely and sweet neighbor

A bird of many qualities the dead one was and good, a true supporter and sticker of bird's brotherhood

The incorporate was sad and very true now with their nights not lovely and days peaceful anymore

Though the intruder, Goldie knew that he could kill only by surprise attack and never from front door

The couple's head was a marvelous bird and somewhat equal match for Goldie in drive and aggression

Goldie knew that the incorporate is invincible united; the head will die first than watching her dying before

Cruelty was his power and wickedness tactics, Goldie patiently waited for a real chance of killing

She felt thirsty and flew towards a nearby pool, on her way she saw a extraordinary wild flower tray

A trail of blood made him understand that she can't fly long distance, Goldie chased her in anticipation

With hunted fish in beak and flying he felt something and lost operate of prey, though he was an old school

Missing her badly he headed homewards, and Goldie was approximately at the pool to halt the job onwards

Good parents they were and always remained, sheer love and peace were in the air and terror chained

I heard a shotgun blast. I must have been hit because I was down and felt it in my stomach. I was lying on the ground of a parking lot in the dark scared, hurt and alone, not knowing if I would live or die. It seemed so real, even though it was a dream.

This dream, after my father died, helped me understand the shock and corporal hurt I was going through. I had never experienced the loss of man I loved and it hit me in the gut. It was as if a part of me had died. And it had. Especially the part of me who reserved things like "dying" for other families, not mine.

I was alone in the uncharted territory of grief. I wasn't curious in watching television or reading a novel.

Interestingly, I enjoyed playing the piano, as unpracticed as I was. Commonly I'd be too busy to sit down and play; but now time didn't seem to matter. I remember calling a friend whose husband said she was kayaking and would be spending the night camping on an island. I wondered if I would ever get out there again, back into the world. It was as if I was suspended in an altered state of being.

I couldn't write about my father's death for a long time. To write about something gives me distance; it keeps me in my head. As long as I didn't write about my father dying, there was no distance. It was still happening in me. Like in my dream, I needed to stay in my body; to feel the loss in my flesh and blood - my bones.

I soon began to receive and contact the incredible curative power of love. It came mysteriously; it was an honest outpouring from the citizen who surrounded me, wrote letters and called. One expression of condolement I will all the time remember came from my friend Diana who lost her mom to breast cancer when she was a teenager. Soon after we returned home from Dad's funeral there was a knock at the door. There, Diana stood keeping the most gorgeous bouquet of flowers: delphiniums, sunflowers and zinnias. She put her hand over her heart and said two words, "My mother." We didn't need to talk. I knew she was telling me about the love that lives on.

Another friend called.

Ann said "I want to take you to lunch. I will never forget when my father died."

It didn't matter that Ann was in her 80's or that she had lost two husbands after long 30-year marriages. It didn't matter how many years had passed since her dad had died. She knew how I was feeling and wanted to share this time with me.

During this time, my tears would come as indubitably as the memories of Dad. I believe tears are like holy water. They flow from the well of our hearts, where we hold our feelings. I stayed with my sadness. I shared it with others and received great ease because they too have had sadness.

My mom said she gardened with her grief. Her yard was never more gorgeous than the year my father died. This time of grieving, as it gently left my body, gave me a new way of living; it became my traveling companion as I lived more compassionately. I learned that our sadness ennobles us as humans. It means we have loved deeply. It is this love that will never die. I wrote about this in a poem the summer after my Dad died.

My Father

I think I am letting him go.

It is not that my love is diminished

or that I miss him less.

It is only that the sun is up

and there is no milk

in the refrigerator

and the bunny got out

of the cage

and is eating my red geraniums.

An Old Sheriff (a poem)

The old man sat in his rocker, on his porch,

back in 1906, sixty-six years old, an old sheriff,

from South Carolina. He sat on his porch, he

had put up his guns, retired some; and

out of the blue, came six-cowboys, one day:

one black, two Mexicans, and three gringos,

all totting guns, and tall hats, on horseback.

Before the old man could reach for his

shotgun, behind the door, the six men on

horseback, shot him, right in the heart.

He fell onto the floor and the six men on

horseback, just looked, and looked, and

stared, until they got bored. His wife, Anna,

was trembling tried to nurse him back, but

the old man knew, he was dying, his time was

taxed (unable to breath but a gulp air). And so,

the cowboys, one black, two Mexicans, and three

gringos, just up and road off, left, to who knows where,

and the old man died, and was swiftly buried,

so he wouldn't stink the air, and he left his legacy,

but no one surely cared.

Notes (Commentary on my heroes): Faulkner and Hemingway, both Nobel Prize winners, both drunks, both plan they were intellectuals, and were not; both never went to college, somehow made history in their push in the literary world though. Faulkner was also invited to Harvard to speak, someone else poor selection on behalf of Harvard Professors. I have read all of Faulkner's works, nothing impressive, dull stories to say the least, but for its time maybe a small above the C-plus status. Bukowski, a Los Angeles poet, also determined the Poet Laureate of Skid Row, was of a German background (I have a book signed by him). He did attend college for two years, more than I can say about half the poets I know.

Out of the eleven-heroes I have mentioned, most died in their 40s, a few in their early 70s, as the same for a few in their early 60s, and none in their 80s.

I have books signed by Truman Capote, Jack London, William Faulkner, and Charles Bukowski, I like their writings-perhaps with most of them on how and why, and some history within them, and maybe the best writer, or most perfect writer-of them all being, Capote. His heroes were Faulkner and Poe. We all have heroes. "Music for Chameleons," was his last work he did and published, and I think his best. That is the book I have signed by him. Raymond Chandler known especially for the screenplay he collaborated on "Stranger on a Train," which was made into a movie, by Alfred Hitchcock. Frederick Exley, was admitted to the state institution, his heart was not too good, as was his drinking ('Last Notes from Home''). In expanding to a few books he wrote, he also wrote poetry and articles.

Dream Interpretation and Poetry - Interpreting Love Poems

I was finding for keywords in order to write my next article, and since I just wrote two e-books about love and happiness and the interpretation of dreams about the man you love, I was finding for keywords connected to love. Then I saw that one of the best keywords was "love poems".

If you know my story, you know that I have been a writer since I was 7 years old. I have a great literary talent, but instead of becoming a literary writer, writing mainly poetry, which is my passion, I learned how to translate dreams, lasting the work of the famed psychiatrist Carl Jung.

The continuation of the work of a psychiatrist transformed me into a psychiatrist too, the same way that a psychiatrist became a language translator when he tried to decipher the mysterious meaning of our dreams.

I abandoned literature because I became a doctor and I didn't have time to be also a writer and keep writing poetry.

However, since I saw that there are so many citizen caring about love poems and since I love writing poems, now that my English is better, after writing so many articles for you, I dared writing two love poems, with the intention of possibly creating a collection of love poems at my first site, near my e-books about love and happiness and how you can justify dreams about the man you love, your bonus.

I wrote my two first poems easily, but I in effect don't have time for poems because too many citizen are still sending me their dreams for professional translation and psychotherapy, taking advantage of my summer offer, which is advent to an end.

Anyhow, possibly after the summer offer and the completion of my new e-book Dream Interpretation as a Science - The Cure for All thinking Illnesses, with all the collection of dreams that I collected on the internet from citizen all over the world, I will have more time and I may continue writing love poems, which, for me, are very easy to be written.

However, since I'm also your trainer and I've been giving you lessons about the scientific recipe of dream interpretation through my articles, I had the idea to use my first love poem in this description in order to show you how poetry helps you understand good the dream language.

This is why I, a poet, could translate good the dream messages, than Carl Jung, who discovered the strict recipe of dream interpretation but was a doctor, who lived far from the meaning of the words, languages and translations.

Here is my first Love Poem:

Secret Love

Nothing seems possible or real.

Nothing is straightforward or attainable.

Will the ocean in the middle of us disappear?

Will all walls increase their limits?

Nothing seems sensible.

But nothing can be incommunicable for very long.

Life asks for our ticket, and examines us at length.

Our facial expressions reveal

the positive secret...

Is this dream ever going to come true?

Will I ever carry on to be near you?

The talk is so difficult...

The future, so cruel...

Separated by the ironic distance,

our eyes and our existence

look for bridges and indiscernible connections,

beyond ephemeral minutes

and their complicated dimensions.

Now I'm going to justify the meaning of this poem agreeing to its linguistic value. You'll see that the interpretation of a literary work is quite similar to the interpretation of a dream, even though when you learn to exactly justify your dreams you become a true translator: you translate images in words.

You are not an "interpreter" anymore, because the examiner is the one who tries to understand the incommunicable meaning of a positive text, while the translator naturally translates words from one language to the other, without finding for any meaning before exchanging the words from one language to the other. This is quite different!

While Carl Jung was a beginner and therefore a dream interpreter, trying to understand the mysterious meaning of the dreams without adequate knowledge, especially because he abandoned the investigate into the unknown region of the psyche, I who continued his investigate and had a good plan about how to justify the meaning of a literary work, can present you a recipe of dream translation, which is much more strict than the vague recipe of dream interpretation used by Jung.

Let me show you now the literary interpretation of my first love poem:

"Secret Love

Nothing seems possible or real.

Nothing is straightforward or attainable.

Will the ocean in the middle of us disappear?

Will all walls increase their limits?"

The title defines the poem, showing us that it is about a incommunicable love.

Nothing is possible, real, straightforward or attainable. We see that there is a great difficulty. This is a love in the middle of two citizen that are too distant, either geographically or socially, or for many other possible reasons.

And here begins the poetical expression:

"Will the ocean in the middle of us disappear?

Will all walls increase their limits?"

The ocean cannot disappear and walls never increase their limits because they don't have any plasticity. So, I, the author, am trying to show you that what I desire is something impossible.

When we justify the literary meaning of a text or poetry, we try to understand what the author's intention was. We crusade for the meaning that the author gives to his literature, we try to inspect what the author wanted to express with the words that he or she chose to use. We don't give our personal plan about the document and its meaning.

So, with the words "ocean" and "walls", we understand that there are substantial obstacles to be overcome, so that the integrate in love will be able to be together. This is a very difficult matter.

Continuing:

"Nothing seems sensible.

But nothing can be incommunicable for very long.

Life asks for our ticket, and examines us at length.

Our facial expressions reveal

the positive secret"...

Here we have a metaphor, a personalization of "Life" as if life was a man that checked for our tickets when we are traveling.

With this metaphor the author shows us that life is a trip, we are in constant movement, and some day we have to give answers, which cannot be avoided.

This part shows us also that the truth cannot be hidden, no matter how much the integrate may try to hide it, since other factors denounce them, factors that are beyond their control.

Now, you may think that the author used the words "ticket" and "secret" only because they make a rhyme. However, keep in mind that when an author decides to use positive word in a poem because it ends the same way as someone else one, he or she has always to select the word that fits also with the meaning of the text.

Art, the purpose of each word and the purpose of each meaning, make the poem together.

Continuing now the poem:

"Is this dream ever going to come true?

Will I ever carry on to be near you?

The talk is so difficult...

The future, so cruel"...

The first two questions and the first talk are easy to be understood, without interpretation. However, the last statement makes us wonder what exactly intended the author to show us with the phrase: "The future, (is) so cruel".

The time to come appears in a metaphoric form, as if the time to come was a person, since only a man can be cruel.

Why is the time to come cruel? The author could tell it with positivism presenting possibly a possibility of a meeting and a association in the middle of the integrate in the future, but the time to come is described as being cruel, what means that in the time to come more impossibilities and obstacles may cut off the couple, instead of uniting them.

And now the end:

"Separated by the ironic distance,

our eyes and our existence

look for bridges and indiscernible connections,

beyond ephemeral minutes

and their complicated dimensions".

The first sentences are clear and we can in effect understand their meaning. However, what exactly do these words mean: "Beyond ephemeral minutes and their complicated dimensions?"

Ephemeral is that which lasts only for a very short duration of time. The minutes are in effect ephemeral, because time passes very fast and the minutes have a very short duration.

But what are the complicated dimensions of the minutes?

Let's inspect the entire paragraph in order to understand completely its meaning:

"Separated by the ironic distance, our eyes and our existence look for bridges and indiscernible connections, beyond ephemeral minutes and their complicated dimensions".

So, the lovers' eyes and all their existence look for bridges and indiscernible connections in the short minutes of such possibility and in their complicated dimensions, meaning that these short minutes have a continuation.

They are extended to someone else level, assuming a different form, so they are no more ephemeral, since they remain, either in the form of memory or in the form of many consequences that follow from the brief experience of the integrate during only brief minutes.

These could also be the brief minutes where a positive association in the middle of them is possible, even when they are not near each other.

Therefore we understand that the author is talking about a incommunicable love approximately impossible to become a association in the middle of the couple.

You may believe that this is something you understood from the beginning, because this poem was not difficult to be interpreted, but now you have a clearer idea about its meaning.

Now, you can also good understand how we justify a dream.

In opposition to what happens when we try to justify a dream, if we know how to exactly translate the dream symbols, we don't have to guess and try so hard to understand what the dream's author is trying to say. We naturally translate the dream scenes without difficulty, giving known meanings to the dream images.

We know for example that the ocean symbolizes craziness. So, when we translate the dream, we use the word craziness in the place of the ocean. We keep putting words in the place of the images and this is how we inspect what exactly the dream is trying to show us.

If the sentence "Will the ocean disappear?" was part of a dream, we would translate it as: "Will craziness disappear?" since the ocean is a very important dream symbol. This is what we do: we look for known dream symbols and we translate their meaning, relating them to the other parts of the dream.

When you learn the dream language agreeing to the strict translation in case,granted by the scientific recipe after my simplification of Jung's method, you inspect that it is not difficult and mysterious at all, as all dream interpreters until today have presented it.

For them it is still mysterious because they are guessing, like I was guessing when interpreting the literary meaning of my first love poem, especially when I interpreted the meaning of the minutes' complicated dimension.

Another examiner could give them someone else definition, because an interpretation is the follow of a subjective view of what the author was trying to say. Each one interprets the words of a poem in a different way when trying to understand the author's intention, even independently of their personal opinion.

Imagine now what happens when the examiner expresses only his or her own opinion, without caring about the author's intention...

An strict dream translation is totally different from a subjective dream interpretation, which is quite similar to a literary interpretation.

When we translate the dream's meaning, we don't guess: we replace images by known meanings, the same way we do when we translate one language to the other.

Long Lost Lovers Re-United After 30 Years....Wow!

Denny, my husband, and I were high school sweethearts. We found each other after 30 years. We are working on a book about our wonderful and romantic tale of lovers found.

I wrote this poem way before we got back together. A lot of the poems I post of sadness are from the time I was not with Denny and missed him. We have been married for 8 years! I still write and post my sad poems. I have written before how habitancy used to criticism about the fact that all of my paintings felt sad to them... And asked my why... I would say, "What is bright about happy?" I still think that is true to a point. Who doesn't love a gorgeous tragedy? It's romantic and perplexing. I am not sad anymore like this poem written so long ago. But there are moments, and everyone has them. There are also flowers and blue skies with big white puffy clouds to remind us that all has it's place and is assuredly in exquisite time.

In all my dreams
I never imagined me without you.
I wandered through my life
and I would always see you.
I counted on your timing
your smile

A lot of couples will get to wrapped up with each other and will lose time for friends. Don't let this happen to you. Lastly, tell them how you feel. Of policy by being in the relationship you care about them. Well, tell them that. Don't expect them to just know you feel that way. Knowing something and being told it are two fully detach things. For example, knowing that you're working hard on a task is one thing, but when person tells you it gives you that great petite feeling that is priceless. Use your loved one's name. Write the person's name vertically on a piece of paper. Use each letter to create a line of a poem.

Rhyming Love Poems - succeed St Valentine's Advice!

Writing love poems can be a pretty difficult task for most of us but trying to generate rhyming love poems can prove to be an even bigger headache. If you have tried to make love rhyme, you know how demanding and stressful this assignment can be.

Fortunately for me, I live in the south France not more than five minutes from the church where St Valentine's relics are treasured. But Right now, the legend I 'am pleased to spread is that of St Valentine, drinking red wine to stay vigorous and healthy! Why? Because I assume St Valentines of Terni, Italy, was born physically wholesome since "Valentines" comes from the Roman "Valens": "strong, vigorous, healthy"... And just because "Valentinus" and "vinicius" (from the Latin "Vinum", wine) are rhyming so well.

But mostly because Valentines, protector of lovers deserves a short rhyming love poem in memory of his safety on our vineyards!. Indeed, Very few know that St Valentine relics were purchased in 1868 to save French vineyards from the "Ugly beast". A disease propagated by the aphid called "Phylloxera vastatrix"; as pointed by its name, an ecological and economical disaster brought on by importing some grape wines from America.

But better than a love poem, the gratefulness of the winegrowers expresses here every St Valentine week-end with a French kiss and lovers festival along with a wine pruning celebration.

Just as she was manufacture her way to the vacant seat next to me, somebody else rushed in and took it leaving me with a nasty feeling as if i had been stung by a bee! I belief then that i would not see her again; she was stuck in my mind just like a stubborn stain. However, when i was at the barbers shop seeing out the window pane....................i suddenly woke up from my sleep and hit my head. Not another dream Again!!
