Oh sweet joy of love
Those who have it will be happy
Like a Christmas morning
Of all the long wait
Love Poem
A occasion of love is to be remember
Remember for all time to come
Through the seasons and years to past
And yes, it will last forever
What such lovely delight
To have a friend
So loyal and trustworthy
To give the key to your heart
Would you cut something for love?
To find that exquisite partner
And even give up your paper
Maybe even power?
Poem 2 - Drift Away
Let me drift away
With you to a far away land
Maybe heap on an isolated island
So we can be alone, just the two of us
You and me, and at night
We can stare at the clear black sky
Where time will go by slowly
And we will be at peace
Where we can be free and release
From all the trouble
I know it sounds like a gamble
And to good to be true
But baby, you have to trust in me
Together we can do it
If we stay strong and prolong
So let us drift away and far away
My name is Khoa and I am new to writing poetry so please excuse my amateur ways of writing. In the first poem, I am expressing my opinion of love. The second poem I used my imagination of a place I would be alone with my love. Each time I write I feel like I am getting best and better.
